Dr. Alan H. Brodine is a Board Certified Prosthodontist who has maintained a private practice Limited to Prosthodontics in Rochester, NY for more than 30 years. Prosthodontics is the American Dental Association-recognized dental specialty of: replacing missing teeth; treating TMJ disorders, bite problem, wear, and bruxism; treating Esthetic Dental problems. Dr. Brodine spends 80% of his time in private practice and 20% of his time teaching. Dr. Brodine teaches in five prosthodontic specialty training programs in addition to other national and local venues. What does it mean to be a Board Certified Prosthodontist?
Since 1991, Dr. Brodine has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, surgically placing over 5,000 dental implants. In order to become Board Certified, he passed a rigorous four-part written and clinical examination, a process that can take up to four years. This intensive process assesses knowledge, skill, and ability to provide excellence in Prosthodontist care.
